FEATURES – Original #21 Short printing to reverse in felt. Blue and yellow striped shirt with Everton written in the yellow stripes. Everton F.C printed in blue at the bottom of the front of the shirt. Bold blue Danka sponsor on a yellow background. Premier League badges on the sleeves.
CONDITION – Very good condition with a smooth material feel across the whole shirt. Bright yellow and blue colours to the shirt with no fading or stains. Danka sponsor printed into the shirt in perfect condition. Both Premier League badges are excellent with no colour run or damage. #21 Short to the back is in excellent condition except for the letter ‘T’ which the orange insert has peeled away (see final photo). Umbro logo and team crest in perfect condition. Original Umbro label is pristine. Overall 8/10
INFO – Craig Short played over 100 games for Everton in central defence before being sold to Blackburn Rovers for £1.7 million in 1999. Other greats to wear this shirt include Dave Watson, David Unsworth, Nick Barmby, Duncan Ferguson and Gary speed. Everton only managed 15th place in this season under Joe Royle who was replace by Dave Watson as caretaker Manager in March. This season saw the club sell legend Andrei Kanchelskis to Fiorentina which didn’t help their chances.
